An Easy (and Affordable!) Way to Update Your Bedroom
Are you also looking for an easy way to update your bedroom? Since moving into this place in 2018, I sadly hadn’t paid much attention decor-wise to the master bedroom. How Can I Make My Bedroom Look Better?
Our room is a fairly large space, with a high wall behind the bed, since our headboard is low. We originally had a round mirror with a gold frame centered on the wall, but I do feel as though round mirrors have had their moment and are slowly becoming an outdated/oversaturated home trend. So I definitely wanted something more updated to bring the room together.
I knew I wanted a larger piece there, but wasn’t quite sure the design I wanted. I also knew I wanted to keep it in the neutral family of colors. I decided to double up on this wall print and do a mirror effect with two frames side by side.
There is such pretty light in this room that comes in from the sliders, I wanted a simple print that would elevate the room and not look too busy. A relaxing, calming vibe, if you will. And I think these posters achieved that look.
I also added this black and white graphic print (called Checkmate print) on the night stand, which I think really ties the room together. In my opinion, adding art prints is the most perfect, modern way to update a room without breaking the bank.
