Greetings from the South of France!
We arrived in Cap d’Antibes yesterday via train from Paris, and although our train’s final destination was Nice (only a few towns over) I am happy to report that there were no extra security checkpoints or anything out of the ordinary after what happened on Le Fete Nationale (Bastille Day).
Happy Weekend, everyone! Last weekend I headed out to Martha’s Vineyard for a little family get-together at my uncle’s new summer home.
For those of you who are not familiar, Martha’s Vineyard is an island off the coast of Massachusetts, known for its pristine beaches and picturesque landscapes, as well as for its perfectly manicured homes and gardens. (And also for its preppy popped collars and embroidered whale pants..but you didn’t hear that from me *wink*).
Happy Summer, everyone! So, the sun finally decided to come out today in Martha’s Vineyard and it was the perfect day to take a walk over to the East Chop Lighthouse.
