Sephora VIB Sale Skincare Must Haves

It’s that time of year that many of us wait 365 days for. The Sephora VIB sale is here, which means many beauty products that hardly ever go on sale are now up to 20% off with code HOLIDAYFUN.

The sale has tiered starting dates and discounts this year, depending upon what Sephora status you are. Here is a rough breakdown:

So if there are products you know you use daily, it’s a great time to stock up on well loved favorites! Here are some of my holy grail products and Sephora VIB Sale must haves that I bought last week during the Friends & Family sale last week.

Sephora VIB Sale Must Haves

YSL The Shock Mascara – This has been my go-to mascara for years now. They’ve changed the packaging and branding a couple of times, but the formula has remained the same. Full, thick, and lengthened lashes, plus a formula that easily rinses off at the end of the day.

KVD Vegan Beauty Ink Liner – The line formerly known as Kat Von D Cosmetics has now distanced themselves from their racist founder and rebranded as KVD Vegan Beauty. But their Ink Liner has remained one of my favorites for creating a perfect cat eye every time. The thick felt tip helps guide your hand so lines remain perfectly straight, and the black pigment doesn’t budge until you remove it at night.

NARS Orgasm Blush & Bronzer Duo – This blush shade from NARS is a best seller for a reason. It flatters almost all skin tones, and contains a delicate sparkle to bring a little bit of glow to the face. Pair it with their best selling bronzer, and this duo is hard to beat.

Benefit Watt’s Up Highlighter – I was introduced to this product when several of my friends started working at our local Benefit boutique. I love the creamy formulation of this highlighter, and love that it’s in stick form, which means no extra brushes needed. Simply swipe on cheekbones and blend in with fingers for a perfect glow.

NARS Climax Extreme Mascara – This is a brand new product launched by NARS, and to be honest, it rivals my long time favorite YSL mascara. It goes on with a rich black pigment, and adds tons of volume and length to lashes without clumping.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Set – This shade by Charlotte Tilbury is a cult favorite because it’s a universally flattering shade that’s the perfect mix of a pink and a nude. Snag this kit which features the lipstick and matching Pillow Talk lip liner.

Laura Mercier Setting Powder – I’ve been using this product for years, and although powders do not usually bode well on my dry skin, this formula is so finely milled that the powder gently melts into the face, without leaving any white residue behind.

Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation – Selena Gomez recently launched her Rare Beauty cosmetics line, and although the beauty industry is saturated with celebrity endorsed products, this one has really generated some rave reviews. I recently purchased the Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation and it does, indeed, live up to expectations. It feels like you aren’t wearing makeup, yet does a beautiful job of leaving skin with an airbrush like finish.

Marc Jacobs Highliner Liquid Gel Eyeliner – I purchased this product in Silver Lining last holiday season. It adds a festive pop to eyes with the silver shimmer, but nothing too crazy or over the top. Highly recommend for a holiday party look or to bring a sparkle to Christmas Eve dinner.

Grande Lash Lash Serum – I’ve always been skeptical about lash serums for some reason. But during April 2020, in the peak of quarantine, I decided to start trying Grande Lash. This stuff works. My lashes are soo long right now, I’ve even considered trimming a few that have grown long and unruly. (I’m probably just going to wait for them to fall out naturally, but they are LONG).

NuFace Trinity Facial Toning Device – I have been using my NuFace trinity since 2017, when I thought my face looked like it could use a little lifting and contouring. Although the difference is subtle, I can definitely tell when I stop using it! The gel that they sell with it is quite pricy, so I opt for this cheaper alternative gel I found on Amazon for only $10 bucks. The NuFace is a splurge item, so I highly recommend purchasing during the Sephora sale so you can get that extra discounted price!

Dr. Dennis Gross Peel Pads – If you’re looking for a new way to regenerate that fresh, new skin, the Dr. Dennis Gross Peel Pads are great. I use them a couple times per month, when I’m not using a retinol.

Boscia Charcoal Cleanser & Chia Seed Moisturizer – I love mostly all of Boscia’s products because they are clean and made from wholesome ingredients, but also work incredibly well. Their Charcoal Cleanser is the perfect gentle cleanser for everyday use (I use this in the mornings), and their Chia Seed Moisturizer is the perfect thick, rich nighttime formula for my dry skin this time of year.

St. Tropez & Isle of Paradise Tanning Drops These are my 2 favorite go-to self tanning products. The St. Tropez foam I purchase in shade Dark and I find it’s the most natural shade of tan for my olive toned skin. I also add a few drops of Isle of Paradise to my moisturizer at night, rub into my face, and wake up with the most beautiful tropical glow.

So, I think that’s it for products this year. If I missed anything you’d like to hear more about, send me a DM on Instagram! And if you’d like to see more on my skincare routine, visit this post to see my morning skincare must haves.
