Happy Monday, everyone! This weekend was another beautiful one here in NYC, but I’m preparing for the worst because we’re supposed to get SNOW today. Ugh, here comes winter.
In brighter news, I wore this light pink eyelash sweater over the weekend. When I first saw this sweater in the window, I knew I had to have it! Which is even more surprising because it’s not a store I generally shop in (click here to see which one it is). Anyway, can I just say I love the fact that faux fur, fuzz, and other fun textures are so in style these days. Give me all the furz!
This pink eyelash sweater is comfy and cozy with a bit of stretch so it hugs all the right places. And even though it’s fitted I can still move around in it. Don’t you hate when you wear a super tight sweater and then you can’t move your arms?! The worst.
Additionally, this sweater also comes in White, Grey, and Navy, but most colors are sold out, and only a few limited sizes are left in the pink. So if you love it, hurry over here to get it before they completely sell out!
I paired the pink eyelash sweater with a black leather mini skirt from my new fave Topshop @ Nordstrom. I find that their jeans, skirts and bottoms just fit me perfectly. Which is weird because Topshop is a British company, and I have far from a European straight cut body shape (more of an hourglass over here – I gots a booty!). But, whatever works!
I love that this skirt has pockets, too. And the pockets have a pinstripe thread texture, adding a nice design element. The rise is also pretty high so it could work well with crop tops, too.
