Home Office Reveal

Home Office Tour

This post is in collaboration with Desenio. All opinions are mine alone, and I thank you for supporting the brands that make Quartz & Leisure possible!

Well, well. It’s about time for this post isn’t it? It’s only been what, a year since we moved in? Kidding, but in all seriousness….home decor is kinda hard! Is it just me or…?

I mean, I know I like things when I see them, but then I get them home and I’m like umm yeah no. I might like something on its own, but then it doesn’t go with the rest of my decor vibe, and the vicious cycle of buying stuff and then returning it continues. CAN YOU RELATE?

This also leads to my next problem which is actually finding the decor vibe I want to stick with. Because honestly, I like them all! Do I want boho chic, or scandinavian minimalism, or feminine glam….a touch of farmhouse perhaps?? I WANT THEM ALL. But I have to narrow it down, so…

Anyway, I decided I wanted my home office to be sort of a bohemian, modern abstract vibe. Not sure if that description makes any sense, but I’ve been loving modern abstract art pieces lately and I knew I wanted to incorporate them into the decor.

I picked up all of my gorgeous art prints from Desenio, which has quickly become my new go-to for wall prints. They seriously have the BEST selection with every single genre you can think of. But, like I said I’ve been super into abstract work lately, especially line art. You can check out all of Desenio’s line art prints by clicking here, but the exact prints on the wall behind the bed are Line Impression, Antibes, Abstract Zebra Stripes, and Circle Overlay.

Desenio was also nice enough to offer an exclusive coupon code for 30% off your entire order on the site (*not including handpicked or frames). The code: ‘QUARTZ30‘ is good only from August 20-22, so hurry on over to Desenio if you want to take advantage!

Their prints are super affordable and start at only $5, and adding some wall art is an easy and cost effective way to revamp the decor of any room.

I also just got this desk in the office, after quite a debacle from Amazon. As some of you may remember from my IG stories, they shipped my “desk” but it turned out to not be a desk at all. It was a 100lb deck storage box that I lifted up 15 stairs into my house, only to find out they delivered the wrong item. Of course, Amazon doesn’t want it back, so it now sits in my garage, awaiting its new owner who’s yet to be discovered on the OfferUp app.

Anyway, I ended up changing out the circular drawer knobs to these sparkly agate drawer pulls that I’ve been holding onto forever. They were a Homegoods find a couple years ago, but you can get the exact same ones here.

I wanted to make this corner cozy and inviting, so I also added a gallery wall. Three of these prints are from Desenio, and one I made myself! The Desenio prints are Grass, Abstract Sunset, Dotted Pattern. I also accented the wall with this tiny golden sun mirror which I absolutely love.

I also knew I wanted my desk to partially function as a “get ready” station, because this room is also my closet and dressing room. Which is one of the reasons I added this circular mirror to the back of the desk. (My round mirror is the most affordable I’ve found anywhere online in this size, and it rings up at under $50!)

I will usually sit at my desk and style my hair after I get dressed and do my makeup, while I scroll on my laptop. This is also the cleanest and most organized my desk will likely ever be, so I’m glad I have this moment documented with some photos!

Since I also store all my accessories in this room, I knew I needed to find a place to store all of my jewelry. Being a jewelry designer, trust me when I say I have no lack of jewels! I found this triple tier jewelry stand and it works perfectly to display a ton of necklaces. It also has a little tray at the bottom you can use to store bracelets or rings as well. You can also store headbands and scrunchies on this rack, too so it’s a great multi-purpose piece for under $25.

This similar rack in gold is also pretty and even more affordable!

My gold hammered mirror was a lucky find at my local Homegoods, although I waited a LONG time to find one that I truly loved. I actually tested out a different silver mirror, decided I didn’t like it, returned it, and then luckily found this one shortly after. See what I mean about buying and returning? The struggle is REAL.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the home office reveal. Do you like the decor theme I chose? I feel like decor is such a personal thing and I’ve found it also varies depending where you live. My decor taste is so different from some of my friends that live in other areas of the country!

Thanks for reading and if you have questions on any of the items in the room or want links to buy, just let me know! I can be reached on Instagram, Twitter & Pinterest! ?
