The daytime weather in Sicily has been super hot and sunny.  Fortunately, the nights have given us a bit of a break with a cool breeze that rushes in as soon as the sun goes down.  It’s great because we can enjoy eating our dinners outside and then strolling on down to the boardwalk after our meal.

The colors in this Lollipop Dress from Revolve.com remind me of sun-baked terra cotta.  The kind that you find in the ancient architecture in southern France and in, well, Sicily.  (I’ve recently noticed this was sold out on Revolve, so I’ve linked it to ASOS on sale instead!)

The dress is made of a stretchy knit fabric and while it is heavier than most summer fabrics, the knit is very breathable because it is made in a waffle grid pattern, allowing air to flow through.

I also love the lace up front and the tassel details at the end of the cords.  I thought it paired well with these lace up stack heels from MakeMeChic.com that I scored on sale for under $20!

While they are not real leather, they look pretty legit for faux, and they are super comfy for walking around and exploring all day.  I highly recommend you check them out!
