Today I’ve teamed up with Charlotte Russe to bring you a little festival style inspo!
For those of you not in the know, the term “festival style” was originally inspired by the Coachella music festival that takes place every April in the middle of the desert in sunny California.
Festival season kicks off with Coachella in April, but it doesn’t end there.
Throughout the summer tons of music festivals take place in other parts of the country, like the Governors Ball in NYC, Bonnaroo in Tennessee, Firefly in Delaware, and Lollapalooza in Chicago, amongst many others.
All of these festivals give concert goers the opportunity to dress in their cutest boho chic rocker attire. Coachella has unfortunately/(fortunately?) become more about the fashion and scene-y vibe these days rather than the music, but I guess that all depends on who you ask!
I personally love listening to the music just as much as I love seeing all the unique looks that stem from the event. And I’m pretty sure a trend or two have started here (I’m looking at you, Kendall).
Anyway, I won’t be attending Coachella this year, but just because I don’t have tickets in hand doesn’t mean I want to miss out on creating a funky festival look!
So I teamed up with Charlotte Russe to give you a sneak peek of what I would wear, and to give you some inspo to create your own festival style if you’re on your way to the desert (or any other festival) this summer.
